Since 2009, Lider Pet Food has worked to develop reliable, innovative nutrition solutions that support the quality of life of pets. While continuously advancing our production strength, expertise and technology investments since the day we were founded, we see bringing our Turkish-born brands to pets all over the world as one of our most important goals.
With our high-technology production infrastructure, annual capacity of 270,000 tonnes and a strong team of more than 800 colleagues, we develop and manufacture cat and dog food for a wide range of needs. From raw material selection to production, quality control to packaging, every process is managed with high quality standards, reliability and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Carrying the strong position we have built in Turkey into international markets, we today bring our products to consumers all over the world. One of the most important steps in our global growth journey is the strategic partnership formed in 2023 with Belgium-based United Petfood Group. This powerful collaboration combines Lider Pet Food’s production experience and market knowledge with United Petfood’s international manufacturing network and global expertise; while strengthening our presence in new markets, we invest together in the pet food industry of the future.
We see our growth not merely as added capacity but as a holistic transformation advancing continuously across technology, R&D, product development and sustainable production. In products developed around the life stages and nutritional needs of pets, we place science, expertise and innovation at the centre.

History
2008
Lider Pet Food was founded.
2009
Our plant began pet food production with an annual capacity of 35 thousand tonnes.
2017
Our production capacity rose to 70 thousand tonnes per year.
2021
Our second plant became operational. With lines 3 and 4 commissioned, production capacity rose to 150 thousand tonnes per year.
2022
With the 5th line, production capacity rose to 220 thousand tonnes per year.
2023
A partnership agreement was signed with United Petfood.
2025
Our wet food production plant was established.
2026
Our new dry food plant in Kırklareli became operational. Our total annual production capacity reached 270 thousand tonnes.
