Data Protection Notice

This notice is provided under Article 10 of Turkish Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data ("KVKK") and covers the personal data collected through liderpet.com.tr.

Personal data we process

Contact form: first name, last name, company name, phone number, e-mail address, subject and message content.

Job application form: first name, last name, e-mail address, phone number, the position applied for, your message, and the CV file you upload together with the information it contains.

Technical data collected automatically: IP address, browser information (user agent) and the site language at the time the form is submitted.

Purposes of processing

• Responding to and resolving your requests, suggestions and complaints
• Evaluating product, private label and export enquiries and running quotation processes
• Evaluating job applications and running recruitment processes
• Detecting abuse and automated submissions, and maintaining information security
• Meeting obligations arising from applicable legislation

Collection method and legal grounds

Your personal data is collected electronically, by automated and partly automated means, when you complete the forms on this website.

Processing is based on Article 5 of the KVKK: it is directly related to the conclusion or performance of a contract (Art. 5/2-c), it is necessary for the data controller to fulfil a legal obligation (Art. 5/2-ç), and it is necessary for the legitimate interests of the data controller provided that it does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms (Art. 5/2-f).

Any special categories of personal data included in your CV (such as health data, religion or association membership) are processed on the basis of your explicit consent. We recommend not sharing special category data that is not required for the assessment of your application.

Transfers

Your data may be transferred to the hosting and e-mail service providers we use to operate the website and its mail infrastructure, and to authorised public institutions where required to fulfil a legal obligation.

Embedded map and video content on the site (Google Maps, YouTube) is loaded from those providers' servers; when you view pages containing such content, your IP address and browser information are transmitted to them. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Retention

Contact form records are retained after the request has been resolved for the statutory limitation periods set out in applicable legislation.

Job applications and CVs are retained for a maximum of 2 years from the assessment of the application, after which they are deleted or anonymised. CV files are stored in a non-public area accessible only to authorised staff.

Your rights as a data subject

Under Article 11 of the KVKK you have the right to apply to the data controller to:

• Learn whether your personal data is being processed,
• Request information if it has been processed,
• Learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used in line with that purpose,
• Know the third parties to whom the data is transferred in Türkiye or abroad,
• Request correction if the data is incomplete or inaccurate,
• Request deletion or destruction under the conditions of Article 7 of the KVKK,
• Request that correction, deletion and destruction be notified to third parties to whom the data was transferred,
• Object to a result against you arising from analysis carried out solely by automated systems,
• Claim compensation if you suffer damage due to unlawful processing.

You may submit your requests in writing to the address above, or by e-mail to iletisim@liderpet.com.tr, including the information required by the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller. Your request will be concluded as soon as possible and within 30 days at the latest.
